Big Skeem is a breath of fresh air for those liking the real American ‘East Side Sound’. Hailing from Lancaster in Pennsylvania, a small town just outside Philadelphia, Big Skeem is the latest talent to submerge from Geolani’s movement ‘Team AFFicial’. Ever since Big Skeem’s debut single ‘Smash Off’ which features Roc-A-Fella recording artist Peedi Crakk, things have been really moving forward for this talented US rapper. Big Skeem is making a lot of noise in the US at the moment with features on mixtapes from the likes of DJ Envy, Tapemasters Inc., DJ Diggz, DJ Lust, DJ Dub, DJ 4Sho, Meddafore, Dub Floyd and Digital Product, as well as radio play on most of the East Coast’s number one stations including Kiss 99.3FM, Power FM and Sirius and opening shows for JR Writer, Drag-On, Jin and Freeway. Over here in the UK, that single in-fact received ‘Hip-Hop Single Of The Month’ in DMC’s Update Magazine, as well as receiving numerous spins from a string of European DJ’s from a limited MP3 mail-out! Now back with a full-length CD entitled ‘By Any Means Necessary’, the big man is set to do some real damage with a total of seventeen killer tracks.
